Travel Guide, Frommer's Guidebook and KMSB-TV "Tucson Treasures"!

  • Our exceptional flights typically take us over the Tucson Mountains and Saguaro National Park West on Tucson's northwest side. Each journey is unique, combining low level views of the beautiful desert landscape and spectacular panoramas from higher elevations. On most flights numerous wildlife are spotted, including javelina, deer, bobcats, rabbits, foxes, and red-tailed hawks.  We generally fly as low as treetop and as high as 2500 feet above ground, so you can get the very most out of your ballooning experience.

  • After landing, each flight is celebrated with a delicious continental brunch and premium champagne (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) served in beautiful crystal flutes.  You will hear the history of hot air ballooning, receive digital pictures of your ride (taken from the chase vehicle as it follows your adventure) and a frame-able flight certificate.

  • We take a maximum of 4-5 people per balloon, versus our competitors who take 8-10 passengers per balloon. We have comfortable leather seats if you prefer to sit rather than stand.

  • Fleur de Tucson is family owned and operated.  Mike Fleury has been FAA certified for over 28 years.  Mike was the key-grab winner at the 1999 Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, competing against 850 other balloonists, winning a new Ford Truck!  He has accumulated over 2500 hours, flying throughout the United States and in France.

  • We are conveniently located within a 15-30 minute drive from all of the major resorts and hotels in Tucson.

* Due to extreme heat in the summer months, our season begins October 1st and ends April 15th. *
